Instructions to Authors
General Organization
Each text must contain the following titled sections: SUMMARY, INTRODUCTION, MATERIALS AND METHODS, RESULTS, CONCLUSIONS and REFERENCES. The RESULTS and CONCLUSIONS may be combined.
General Instructions
- Save file in Word format (.doc) and name it with your work code (found in our letter).
- Use the font and size indicated. Recognition of other fonts is not guaranteed.
- Make sure that you send the last and final version of your paper. No changes to the contents of your paper will be allowed after sending the text.
- Materials received cannot be returned.
- Send articles by email at the address proceedings@monduzzieditore.it and the completed Order Form (remember to enclose the receipt of your payment). The Order Form must be filled in and saved before.
- Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer or check.
Heading
- Title of paper: the title of paper should be no longer than two lines (Times New Roman, size 16, bold).
- Name of author(s): to type the name(s) of the author(s) underneath the title. Initial of first name followed by last name in full (Times New Roman, size 12).
- Affiliation: Institute in full, University or Company, City, Country (Times New Roman, size 10).
- Paragraphs: Summary (max 12 lines), Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Conclusions, References (Times New Roman, size 12, bold).
Text
- Font required: Times New Roman, size 12. For special characters use only the ones provided with the font Times New Roman. Use the font Symbol only when the characters required is not available in the Times New Roman font. Recognition of other fonts is not guaranteed.
- Each article: maximum 4 pages (unless otherwise indicated in our letter), including illustrations and references. For articles exceeding the given page limit, the author could be asked either to reduce the text or to contribute to the additional expenses.
- Single spaced, total text space per page: 12,7cm x 20,0cm (5in x 8in).
References/Captions
- Font required: Times New Roman, size 12.
- Books: author (uppercase letters), title, place of publication, publisher, year.
- Journals: author (uppercase letters), title of paper, journal (abbreviate as per Index Medicus), issue, first and last page, year.
- Write captions at the end of the references, indicating the figure number.
Figures (Tables, Graphs, Photos)
- Illustrations are published in grey scale (please note: colour illustrations may be illegible printed in grey scale).
- Maximum 6 figures per article.
- Figure number must be referred to in the text.
- Save each figure in separate file(s) in *.jpg, *.psd, *.ai, *eps format. Recognition of other formats is not guaranteed.
- Check carefully your image files for good quality before sending them. Illustrations cannot be modified at our side and will be published as are.
